Note: The Quiz questions come from a variety of sources - all accessible from within this Orientation. If you refer back to the Orientation main menu (which should still be open in another browser window) you will see an Essential Information section located toward the bottom of the page. Use these links to answer the quiz questions. You should pay special attention to the following sections in the SHRP Student Handbook (pdf) :

1. Make sure you are at the Orientation homepage. But if you’re not, login to WebCT and click the SHRP New Student Orientation course.
2. Since you affirmed the Honor Code in the last procedure, you will notice the homepage now has an Orientation Quiz icon on it. You must pass this quiz before classes start so please don't wait until the last minute, because it can take more than one attempt to pass. Click Orientation Quiz to begin.
3. After reading the information click the Quiz link, located toward the top of the screen, on the Action Bar.
4. This next page lists all available quizzes. The Orientation Quiz should currently be the only one available. Click New Student Orientation Quiz to proceed.
5. Carefully read the instructions and then click Begin Quiz.
6. The Orientation Quiz now pops up in a new window. If you don’t see it, make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled. You now have 11 minutes to answer 14 questions. To answer a question click the circle next to the answer you're selecting.
7. Next click Save Answer.
8. Click Next Question.
9. Repeat these steps until all questions are answered. You can tell which ones you've answered and which ones you may have skipped by looking at the table on the right side of the screen. When all questions have been answered, click the Finish button, located on the bottom of the screen.
10. You will then be prompted to proceed. Click OK to submit your quiz for grading. This procedure is the typical method for grading WebCT quizzes.
11. Now you must click View Results to complete this procedure.
12. You must score at least 80% on this quiz in order to pass. If your score less than that, you must retake the quiz. To do this, click Homepage, located on the Course Menu, and repeat the above steps.
If you score more than 80% on the quiz then you have passed the Orientation Quiz and are finished.
