-- that is located in the upper right-hand corner. If you have a Polaris account, you can also check e-mail by going to https://mail.umdnj.edu/. Make sure your browser doesn't have a pop-up blocker enabled when checking your mail.
Note: My.UMDNJ is a portal that is used to access e-mail, WebCT courses, grades, Financial Aid information, library services, as well as register for classes. Following these instructions is very important because this will be your key to using all technology resources at UMDNJ.
1. Goto to the secure webpage https://startup.umdnj.edu and click Continue.
2. Enter your University Identification number (also known as your "A-Number") and click Submit.
3. Click Yes if your name is correct. If it is not correct, click No and contact Enrollment Services at 973-972-5454 to see if your A-Number is correct.
4. After you have clicked Yes, you must enter your birth date and the last four numbers of your social security number, and click Submit.
If you do NOT have a social security number, a screen will appear with drop down boxes asking for the name of your School and Program. Enter the required information and click Submit.
5. Next, create a Password and enter it again to confirm.
6. Answer two security questions and click Submit.
7. Click Continue to synchronize your password for the following services:
A message will appear that the password for all of these services has been added.
8. At the bottom of the page click Print for a copy of your email address and a confirmation of the services that you are connected to at UMDNJ.
In the future, the login page can be accessed by going directly to http://my.umdnj.edu. Alternatively, you can visit SHRP's homepage at http://shrp.umdnj.edu/ and click the my.UMDNJ link, located on the banner near the top of the page.
Once you are logged into my.UMDNJ, you can access your e-mail by clicking on the e-mail icon -- -- that is located in the upper right-hand corner. If you have a Polaris account, you can also check e-mail by going to https://mail.umdnj.edu/. Make sure your browser doesn't have a pop-up blocker enabled when checking your mail.
WebCT can be accessed by clicking on the Education tab: 
, followed by the appropriate WebCT link which is located in the My Courses box.
