Procedure 5: Accessing UMDNJ’s WebCT Orientation
Important:The next part of the SHRP New Student Orientation is accessed through WebCT. If you are unable to log into WebCT today, please return to this procedure in a few days and try again. If, after one week, you are still not successful, please contact Enrollment Services: (973) 972-5454. The WebCT Orientation will help you become more familiar with using WebCT for all of your online academic courses. It is only recommended that you complete it, however, if you plan to take an online course. You have the option to skip this step, if you'd like. Instructions:1. While logged into my.UMDNJ, go to the Education tab, and click the link to WebCT Campus Edition, located within the UMDNJ Education Toolbox. 2. To begin, you must locate the Institutional Bookmarks list located on the right side of the screen. Underneath it, find the WebCT Orientation link, which is red. Click it to add the course. 3. Select SHRP for the Primary School or Unit and select Student for your Status. 4. Click Continue. 5. Click Return to my WebCT. Now you are able to view the orientation whenever you want by clicking the Orientation to WebCT link which is located under the Courses list on the left side of the screen.
