About the Rutgers-UMDNJ Integration

Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences

The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS) offers educational programs to prepare entry-level and advanced practitioners who will promote public health and safety through the delivery of quality pathology and laboratory medicine services for health care consumers. The programs have an excellent reputation for preparing students through the continuum of clinical laboratory science career options, and providing knowledge and skills to help achieve career goals. Program excellence is achieved through an experienced faculty of nationally recognized clinical laboratory professionals and commitment to providing excellence in education. Coupled with affordable state university tuition, this offers an outstanding value for individuals who wish to pursue a career in clinical laboratory sciences and practicing CLS professionals seeking to advance their careers. The Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences offers a full component of programs for the medical laboratory science professional.
