- Maya Mann ('13) has been appointed External Affairs National Committee Chair of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA).
- Shurika Perry The Physician Assistant Program congratulates Shurika on being a recipient of the 2011 Edward J III Excellence in Medicine Scholarship.
- Jenna Molinaro's abstract was selected for a Poster Presentation at the 59th Annual Clinical Meeting (ACM) of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists being held in Washington, DC, April 30 - May 4, 2011 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

- Carol Koiro won third place in the Annual Student Writing Competition sponsored by PAEA and the Research Institute in Conjunction with the AAPA. The paper was title “Does Visual Feedback Therapy Reduce Phantom Limb Pain In Patients With Limb Amputation Or Deafferentation?”
- Melissa Hernandez – on April 21, 2009, Melissa conducted three educational workshops on the HPV vaccine to the members of the St Johns’ Clinic community. The workshops were given in both English and Spanish. Each session was completely filled and very well received by the community.

- Stephen McKenzie, MS, PA-C, Assistant Professor, serves as Clinical Director of Health Promotions for the Healthy Athletes Progam of Special Olympics of New Jersey.
- Joseph Schwenkler, MD, Assistant Professor and Medical Director, PA Program, promotion to Associate Professor, approved effective July 1, 2012.
- Carol Sadley, EdM, PA-C - Congratulations to Carol Sadley for winning the much-deserved award of Outstanding PA Educator of the Year 2011 by the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.
- Claire O'Connel, MPH, PA-C - Congratulations to Claire for being the recipient of the 2011 Excellence in Teaching Award.
