Integrated Employment Institute
The Integrated Employment Institute is a program within the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation at UMDNJ-SHRP and is funded by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services. The mission of the Institute is to increase employment among people with psychiatric disabilities. To this end, the Institute seeks to influence individuals, organizations, and systems. The Institute works to increase the expectation of employment outcomes and to:
1) build the capacity of individuals to achieve or support employment goals
2) develop organizational cultures, policies, and practices that promote employment outcomes
3) remove systemic barriers and advocate for effective policies, practices and resources.
The Integrated Employment Institute operates in the counties of Middlesex, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland.
