Department of Primary Care Curriculum: Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences - Dietetics
Program The Department of Primary Care jointly with the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies offers bachelor's degree programs for associate degree/certificate prepared dietetic technicians. The program features three major concentration areas which are open to all students: Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences - Dietetics -
advanced practitioner which focuses on developing advanced practitioner skills,

health services management for individuals interested in management and supervision in health care organizations, and

health professions education for individuals interested in pursuing a career in health professions education.
For individuals interested in an application or a more complete description of the program and curriculum, refer to the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies. The specialty area is a coordinated dietetics program designed for registered dietetic technicians. The program is developmentally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation and Approval for Dietetic Education . The programs first accrediation site visit will be in 2001.
