Admissions: Requirements
The EntryLevel Doctor Of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a full time threeyear program that prepares students to enter the physical therapy profession. This comprehensive 110 credit graduate program prepares students for leadership roles within the profession through its vibrant and supportive educational environment that attracts and nurtures the very best faculty and students. The physical therapy program has a rich tradition of academic excellence in education research patient care and community service.
Admission Requirements
There are several routes of entry into the UMDNJ program. College
graduates with a bachelors degree may apply directly to UMDNJ.
High school seniors or transfer students may apply to one of the
articulated state or private colleges (Kean University Ramapo
College William Paterson University Felician
College, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Montclair State University, St. Peter's College, Yeshiva University).
All applicants are selected on the basis of the
following criteria:

Satisfactory grade point average (AB range)

Satisfactory scores on all three sections (verbal quantitative
and analytical) of the Graduate Record Examination. The

Knowledge of the physical therapy profession through actual
work or volunteer experience.

Three letters of recommendation
