Entry Level Curriculum: Year Two
Pediatric Physical Therapy PTDR7350
Students will learn to assess set goals and design
treatment programs based upon the functional status of clients with
orthopedic and neurological dysfunctions. The development of a theoretical
model for evaluation and treatment will be based upon principles
of sensory motor development neurophysiology motor control
and motor learning. The course will deal with the evaluation of
problems in sensory motor development treatment techniques
and strategies. Emphasis will be placed on problem solving and integration
of previously presented material through the use of videotaped case
studies. (3 credits)
