Entry Level Curriculum:Year Two
Teaching and Learning – PTDR6620
This course introduces the philosophies underlying curriculum development
and learning theories‚ reviews the domains of learning‚
and four learning styles as related to teaching processes. The role
of teaching objectives‚ teaching aids‚ formats of information
delivery‚ learner evaluation and the impact of the environment
on learning conditions will assist the student to organize in–service
presentations and maximize effectiveness in their teaching role
with patients‚ caregivers‚ students‚ peers and other
professionals. (1 credit)
