Entry Level Curriculum: Year Two
Clinical Inquiry III – PTDR7430
The purposes of this course are to practice critical review of the literature as it relates to patient care or research, and to summarize that information for a poster presentation. Strategies for evidence-based practice and dissemination of findings will be presented. Using a study group approach, students will identify a relevant question, search the literature, obtain and discuss articles. Students will develop a system for organizing the results of a search and synthesizing their findings. Students will be required to participate in class discussions and contribute to a final formal poster presentation. (3 credits)
