Applied Physiology for Physical Therapists – PTDR7330
This course presents the responses of the "normal" and the physically
handicapped to exercise with emphasis on cardiovascular and respiratory
adaptations and pathology. Emphasis is on muscular physiology‚
metabolism‚ cardiovascular and respiratory adaptations‚
aging‚ thermoregulation‚ strengthening‚ training‚
and exercise prescription. (3 credits) |
