Ethics PTDR7265
The evolution of the profession of physical therapy has placed
greater moral reasoning responsibility on the physical therapist.
This course traces the development of moral decisionmaking
and explores how ethical choices are made. Case examples are used
to develop and resolve moral dilemmas. A framework for ethical decisionmaking
is presented and through readings and case scenarios the student
explores the challenges of moral reasoning and ethical decisionmaking
as it relates to clinical practice. (3 credits)

Professional Issues Seminar PTDR7161 recommended not required
