Nancy Kirsch PT MA
Professor
Kirsch received a baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from
Temple University in 1971 and did graduate work at New York
University and Montclair University receiving a Masters in
Health from Montclair University in 1977. She received a Certificate
in Health Care Administration from the Health Care Policy Program
at Seton Hall University in 2000 and is currently enrolled
in the UMDNJ doctoral program in health sciences.
Professor Kirsch in collaboration with Dr. Myslinski
has developed an aerobic fitness clinic for patients with Multiple
Sclerosis. The purpose of this clinic is to provide individuals
with Multiple Sclerosis with an aerobic fitness program and
to test the effect of this fitness program on their functional ability.
Professor Kirsch has extensive clinical and administrative experience
and is currently a partner in a private physical therapy practice.
She has served for ten years on the State Board of Physical Therapy
four of which have been as Chairperson. She currently serves the
Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy on the Finance Committee.

Care Delivery Systems Physical Therapy Administration
Ethics and Documentation She was awarded the Community Service
Award by the NJAPTA received the Professional of the year
award from the MS society in 2001
and the Excellence in Teaching Award from UMDNJ in 1993.
