Ellen Zambo Anderson, PT MA GCS
Professor Zambo Anderson received a BS degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 1982 and an MA in Motor Control from Columbia University in 1986. She is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and is responsible for teaching Therapeutic Exercise and Development Across the Life Span. In addition‚ Professor Anderson participates in the Clinical Inquiry series.
Professor Zambo Anderson is a board certified geriatric clinical specialist. Her professional activities have included serving as a delegate to the National House of Delegates of the APTA eight times‚ serving on the Task Force on Complementary and Alternative Medicine for APTA–New Jersey and coordinating the physical therapy efforts at the NJ Special Olympics. Professor Zambo Anderson is also very active in her community‚ serving on the Local Assistance Board and as Immediate Past–President of the Arc (Association for Retarded Citizens) of Union County . She currently holds county and state–level appointments to advisory committees for Human Services.
Professor Anderson’s research interests are in the areas of geriatrics and complementary therapy‚ particularly biofield therapies.
