I. PURPOSE
This policy insures that students are notified regarding the University's Privacy Policies for Health Information.
II. ACCOUNTABILITY
Appropriate staff are accountable for compliance with this policy.
III. POLICY
Health information at UMDNJ is protected under the stipulations of the Health Insurance Portability Assurance Act (HIPAA). UMDNJ is committed to providing students with notification of legal duties and privacy practices.
