SHRP POLICY

I.   PURPOSE

This policy insures that students are notified regarding the University's Policies on Immunization and Immune Status.

II.   ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the direction of the Program Director and Assistant Dean for Enrollment Services, it is the responsibility of individual students to follow this policy

III.   POLICY

All UMDNJ-SHRP students are required to submit documented proof of immunity; the extent of immunization is based on the extent and type of interaction with patients, bodily fluids and other students. If immunization conflicts with the student's religious beliefs or is medically contraindicated, the student should submit a statement of the same to the University.
