I.
PURPOSE
This policy allows a student to take a limited number of SHRP credits as a non-matriculant
student.
II.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The Program Directors, Center for Advanced and Continuing Education (CACE) and
the Associate Dean for Academic and Research are responsible for this policy
III. POLICY
At the discretion of the program director, persons may enroll in SHRP courses
as non-matriculant students. Such students will be limited to a maximum number
of credits of 12 and will not be considered to be pursuing an institutional
credential (certificate or degree). More than 12 credits must be approved by
the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research.
Persons applying for non-matriculation status shall be required to complete the Non-Matriculant Status form, to submit appropriate health documents as needed, and to pay a processing fee. Other documents may be required at the discretion of the program director.
Non-matriculation is processed through the Center for Advanced and Continuing Education. For further information, please refer to the website: http://shrp.umdnj.edu/shrp_admissions/ admissions9_non_matric.htm or call CACE at (908) 889-2560.
Non-matriculant students may request to change their status to matriculant by submitting all application documents required by the program. Being a non-matriculated student does not assure admission for matriculation by the program's admissions committee.
