HIM Accreditation

The Health Information Management Program is accredited by the Commission on Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) in cooperation with the Council on Education of the American Health Information Management Association (COE-AHIMA).

Upon satisfactory completion of course requirements, the graduate is eligible to apply to write the national registry examination. A passing grade on the examination establishes the graduate as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
