- Educational Theory and Methodology for Dental and Allied Health Educators (Web-Based Self Tutorial)
- Expanded Functions for Dental Auxiliaries (RDA)
NOTE: In addition to completing the course, candidates for the RDA credential must also apply to take and pass the RDA exam for New Jersey administered by DANB
- LRT(D) Exam Review
- National Dental Assistant Exam Review (CDA)
- Nitrous Oxide Sedation Monitoring for Dental Auxiliaries - Refresher/Monitoring
Immunizations - Students must be in full compliance prior to September 15, 2009. Participation in the clinical component is pending receipt of the compliance letter issued to students by UMDNJ Student Health Services. The immunization chart, Exhibit A, is located on the following web site. Please print all forms located in column 1 under dental hygiene.
A fee has been added to the course cost for initial review of all immunization forms by Student Health Services of UMDNJ. There is a $100 fee which will be charged only in the event of any needle stick incident or injury. Please make sure to have your health care provider complete all forms in their entirety as additional costs for subsequent reviews will be charged and are your responsibility.

Students will be registered for the class in order of receipt of completed applications...incomplete applications will not be processed....those candidates admitted early during the registration period will be placed in lab session # 1...as lab session #1 fills to capacity, remaining registrants will automatically be assigned to lab session #2. Please note that students will be required to work with lab partners and will also need to provide patients for two lab sessions.
