Dental Hygiene: Financial

The following program fees and costs are for the 2008-2009 academic year. Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice. Check with the affiliate Schools for exact tuition information. This list is not all-inclusive, but is an estimate of the expenses for the program.

*Students must pruchase a combination loce ($approx. $5.00) for locker on the Scotch Plains Campus.

Payment of Tuition and Fees

Payment of tuition and fees is required at time of registration. Payment of tuition and fees may be made by personal and corporation checks, money orders, cash, Master Card, Visa. Union County College also accepts payment by Discover.

General Information

A 12-month residency in New Jersey and current residency in the designated county (Essex , Monmouth or Union) is required by all students to qualify for the lower county or State rates.

Financial Aid

All students interested in applying for Financial Aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid Form (FAFSA), or if New Jersey residents, a New Jersey Financial Aid Form (NJFA). The School of Health Related Professions participates in a variety of private, federal, and state financial aid programs.

Scholarships

Students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program may be eligible for financial scholarships through the American Dental Hygienists’ Association Institute Scholarship Program. For more information contact:

A number of scholarships are available to students of Brookdale Community College, Essex County College, and Union County College. These scholarships have been made available from a variety of private and institutional sources and are offered to both full- and part-time students who meet various criteria.
