Payment of Tuition and Fees
Payment of tuition and fees is required at
time of registration. Payment of tuition and
fees may be made by personal and corporation
checks, money orders, cash, Master Card, Visa.
Union County College also accepts payment by
Discover.
General Information
A 12-month residency in New Jersey and current
residency in the designated county (Essex ,
Monmouth or Union) is required by all students
to qualify for the lower county or State rates.
Financial Aid
All students interested in applying for Financial
Aid must submit the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid Form (FAFSA), or if New Jersey residents,
a New Jersey Financial Aid Form (NJFA). The
School of Health Related Professions participates
in a variety of private, federal, and state
financial aid programs.

Scholarships
Students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program
may be eligible for financial scholarships through
the American Dental Hygienists’
Association Institute Scholarship Program.

A number of scholarships are available to students
of Brookdale Community College, Essex County
College, and Union County College.
These scholarships have been made available
from a variety of private and institutional
sources and are offered to both full- and part-time
students who meet various criteria. For a current
listing of scholarships and awards, please contact
