Financial Aid
All financial aid matters affecting DPT students
are handled by the Office
of Financial Aid , Rutgers , The State University

Scholarship funds for physical therapy students
are limited. Financial aid in the form of loans
and work study assistance is available to qualified
students. All students are encouraged to seek
independent funding sources for graduate study.
The American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Information Central Office maintains a current
listing of scholarships that are available along with other financial aid resources.

Some facilities offer tuition reimbursement
for physical therapy students who contract to
provide a specified amount of service after
graduation. Contact the facility for further
information.
A Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA)
must be filed by March 15 of the year of
matriculation in order for students to be considered
for financial aid. In addition, the Rutgers-Camden
Financial Aid forms must be completed and submitted
by the identified deadlines of the Financial
Aid Office. In general, a copy of the student's,
spouse's, and/or parent's (for dependent students)
federal income tax return for the last taxable
year is required.
Foreign students must show proof of financial
independence to Rutgers Graduate Admissions
Office prior to acceptance into the program.
