MS/MPH PROGRAM
UMDNJ PA PROGRAM AND SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH

An MS/MPH degree program, jointly sponsored by UMDNJ and UMDNJ-School of Public Health (SPH) , is also offered. This program allows physician assistant students to complete both their graduate MPH and MS degrees in four years. Application to the SPH MPH program is limited to students who have already been accepted into the Physician Assistant Program and have taken the GRE and who are accepted into the MPH program by one of its participating Divisions. Students admitted to this dual degree track would take both Physician Assistant courses and MPH courses during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters of the Program's first two years on a full-time basis. Students may begin the SPH MPH program in the summer, prior to beginning the Physician Assistant Program, or in the first Fall semester. During the third and fourth years of the Program, students will be attending the Physician Assistant Program full-time and will complete the field work requirement for the MPH.

Application deadlines for SPH are as follows: Fall: (to begin in September) May 1st - February 15th for early decision; Spring: (to begin in January) - October 1st.

Applications to the PA Program must be received by October 1st.

Please note: The PA Program is now participating with CASPA. Applications should be submitted to CASPA (www.CASPAonline.org) at least four weeks before the PA Program deadline of October 1st.
