The recipient of several academic scholarships:
Seton Hall Academic Scholarship, Seton Hall Women's Guild Pre-Med Scholarship,
and the Merck & Co. Kerrigan Memorial Scholarship. He graduated with honors
from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in
1995. Mr. Vidal continued his academic career with graduate studies in Biology
at Seton Hall University, researching the immunomodulatory effects of drugs
of abuse.
After receiving his Master of Science
in Physician Assistant from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of
New Jersey-School of Health Related Professions (UMDNJ-SHRP) Physician Assistant
Program in 2001, Mr. Vidal worked clinically in a busy family practice/urgent
care/occupational medicine center for 2 ½ years.
Mr. Vidal joined the faculty in December
2003 and continues to practice part-time at a family practice in Clinton.
Mr. Vidal's teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Radiology, Physical
Diagnosis, and Clinical Correlations Lab. He is active on several University
committees, and enjoys tournament paintball in his spare time.
