Mr. McKenzie joined the faculty in May
2004. He received his undergraduate degree in Sociology in 1987 from Franklin
& Marshall College and is a 1993 graduate of the University of Medicine
& Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and Rutgers University Physician Assistant
Program.
He has over 13 years of experience in
Emergency Medicine and Primary Care. He has practiced clinically in large
urban teaching centers and smaller community hospitals. Additionally, he is
a Senior Physician Assistant with the Army National Guard and has coordinated
medical services on humanitarian missions to Nicaragua, Honduras, and for
recovery workers after 9/11. Mr. McKenzie continues to work clinically at
Morristown Memorial Hospital in the Department of Emergency Medicine.
Mr. McKenzie's main teaching responsibilities
include Senior Seminar, Physical Diagnosis, Medical Interviewing, and Electrocardiography.
He also participates in teaching Clinical Medicine Lectures, Psychiatry and
as a mentor for students completing their Masters Degree research projects.
