Premiere Surgical Practice in Paramus, NJ has an immediate opening for a full time Physician Assistant. The PA will be a vital member of our team providing clinical care and services to our patients. Duties will include obtaining histories, perfoming physical examinations, pre-operative evaluations, post-opertave care, clinical procedures, patient education, counseling and more. Preferred candidate will be certified by NCCPA and licensed by the state of New Jersey. We are willing to train a new graduate.
We are looking for 2 full-time PA’s to join our busy and expanding private neurosurgical practice in Bergen County, New Jersey. We have 6 neurosurgeons and one PA. This is a hospital based position for our private practice with occasional office hours. Rotating 12 hour shifts. No call. Must be able to travel between 4 hospitals, one being a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities: daily rounds and notes, admissions, emergency room consultations, 1st assist in operating room as needed, hospital consultations, H&P’s, dressing changes, pre and post operative assessments, medications, test/scan ordering and follow up, discharges, transfers, liaison between our surgeons and patients, family members, referring physicians and hospital personnel. Must be detail oriented with sound clinical skills and excellent communication skills.
