The Special Olympics of NJ was held on Saturday and Sunday, June 7 & 8, 2008 at The College of New Jersey. The UMDNJ/SHRP Physician Assistant Program was there to offer free blood pressure screening to all athletes and their coaches. Although it was a very HOT day, we were able to screen about 400 indivduals over the weekend event. UMDNJ was represented by 15 current PA students, 1 recent graduate, and 2 faculty members.

SAVE THE DATE!!! The annual UMDNJ PA Program Certification and Recertification Examination Review Course is scheduled for June 7-10, 2010. It will once again be held at the NJ Hospital Association Conference Center, Princeton, NJ.
