The links provide you with the information on topics that are important to you. The admissions booklet contains a section of frequently asked questions about SHRP, admissions steps, and information on what documents each program requires to be considered for admission. There are specific academic program brochures that give you in-depth information on the program that interests you. Other links are also valuable to help guide you through the enrollment process at SHRP.
Applicants who have attended an educational institution in a foreign country are required to have the transcript(s) evaluated by a transcript evaluation service. Please see http://www.naces.org/members.htm for acceptable agencies. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is also required. Acceptable scores for TOEFL are as follows: 550 and above for paper based test and 79 for the Internet based test. Some programs may have higher requirements.
| New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act |
In January, 2010, the New Jersey legislature passed the New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act. This Act requires all four-year public institutions of higher education in New Jersey to provide comprehensive information on the cost of attendance, the graduation rates of admitted students, and the faculty of the institution. The purpose of this information is to maximize the awareness of students and their families of the costs associated with enrollment in the institution, the institution’s success in ensuring the graduation of its students, and the composition of the teaching faculty that students will encounter. This information is to be posted on each institution’s website for public review.
The UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE & DENTISTRY OF NEW JERSEY is not a four-year institution - as defined as an institution which enrolls first-time, full-time students. However, UMDNJ-School of Nursing and UMDNJ-School of Health Related Professions enroll undergraduate students with advanced standing. UMDNJ is posting and will submit data to the comparative report compiled by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education as it relates to these students only
