SHRP celebrates three graduation periods each
calendar year: January, May and September. Following
each graduation date, confirmed graduates should
contact Enrollment Services to follow-up on
the status of their diploma. Graduates of undergraduate
joint programs should expect for their diploma
to become available a few weeks following their
graduation date due to the need to receive appropriate
signatures from their affiliate school.
Certificates and Diplomas will only be released
to graduates after confirming that all degree
requirements have been met and any encumbrances
have been cleared. Examples of these holds include:
account balance, financial aid, library or student
loans.
Graduates who have paid tuition to their
affiliate school should request their final
transcript and diploma from their affiliate.
Diplomas may be picked-up at our Enrollment
Services Center , located at the Newark campus.
For graduates that live a significant distance
from Newark , certificates and diplomas may
be mailed by completing and submitting an Official
Certificate/Diploma Release Form.
All students attending SHRP are assessed a one-time
graduation fee during their first semester of
matriculation. UMDNJ paying students are charged
$80.00 and students paying tuition and fees
to partner institutions of a joint program are
assessed a graduation fee of $40.00. Joint program
students may also be charged a graduation fee
by their partnering school.
Graduates that attend the Commencement ceremony
each May will be able to receive their Alumni
Certificate and/or diploma following
the ceremony if all pending requirements and
holds have been met.

diploma may visit either the Matthews
Book Store located at the Newark campus
