SHRP
Educational Research Grants
Educational Research Projects:
To reinforce SHRPs commitment to scholarship
and education, in support of the school's mission
and objectives, the school will fund a number
of educational research projects which will
document the efficacy or effectiveness of distance
education in the health sciences.
Amount
of Awards: All awards will be for modest
amounts meant to facilitate research and in
no case will exceed $2,000.
Eligibility:
Research awards will be made to greater
than 50% faculty. Less than 50% and adjunct
faculty are not eligible. Faculty must present
demonstrated ability in conducting this type
of research.
Note: Salary may not be requested
for the principal investigator or author or
other fulltime UMDNJ faculty members or staff.
Exceptions require approval of the Associate
Dean for Research.
Timeline:
Announcement - March 1, 2008
Preliminary Proposal Due - April 1, 2008
Final Submission Due - April 1, 2008
Decision on Funding - June 2, 2008
Awarded - July 1, 2008
