Mission & Research
The RIVERS lab is an applied rehabilitation research lab where
inter-disciplinary collaboration is heavily emphasized. We seek
to understand aspects of motor control, behavioral and neural plasticity
that form the basis of rehabilitation science. We are interested
in documenting the validity and efficacy of interventions that will
accelerate recovery of function for individuals with neurologic
conditions. We collaborate with engineering labs in the development
and testing of technologies that will address the mission of the
laboratory.
