Virtual Environments and Tele-rehabilitation

Using robotic devices, which were co-developed with Dr. Burdea at Rutgers University, we are studying the application of virtual reality technology to improve hand function and walking of individuals post-stroke. These therapies can be delivered locally or remotely using tele-rehabilitation. The ease with which therapists understand and can use these devices is an adjunct area we are studying.
