William F. Green, MS, CSW, CPRP, CRC, LRC has over 36 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He was the Assistant Director for Vocational Rehabilitation Services at Philadelphia State Hospital for seventeen years; Director of Rehabilitation Services at TRIS, a community mental health center located in Stratford New Jersey , for three years; and Director of Acute Care Services at the Steininger Center , a community mental health center in Cherry Hill , New Jersey for ten years. From 1996 through 2000, he was an Instructor at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey 's School of Health Related Professions , teaching in the graduate degree program in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Since June of 1999, he has also been teaching in the Master of Science Degree Program in Rehabilitation Counseling, and was appointed to full-time Assistan Professor in May, 2000. Courses that he has taught include: Foundations of Rehabilitation Counseling; Theories of Counseling and Personality; Role of the Family in Rehabilitation; Case Management in Rehabilitation Counseling; Medical and Psychosocial Aspects of Disability; Group Counseling; Diversity Issues in Rehabilitation Counseling; Rehabilitation Counseling Techniques I & II; and Vocational Rehabilitation I & II. Bill was the recipient of the UMDNJ “Excellence in Teaching” Award” in 2005, and was the 2006 recipient of the “Meritorious Service Award” from the New Jersey Rehabilitation Association. He also serves on several state-wide advisory boards, and is the current Past-President of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Rehabilitation Association. Bill received his Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, with a Specialization in Psychiatric Rehabilitation, from Boston University , and he has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor since 1975. He became a New Jersey Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor in 1999. He is also a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner, and a Certified Social Worker.
