William R. Waynor, MS, is
an Instructor and Employment Consultant in the I ntegrated
Employment Institute in the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation
and Behavioral Healthcare at UMDNJ where he provides employment
services to people with psychiatric illness and training and
technical assistance to providers, consumers, families and
others to achieve employment outcomes. Previously Mr. Waynor
worked as a member of the UMDNJ Middlesex County Supported
Employment program where he assisted job seekers in returning
to competitive employment in the community. Mr. Waynor has
also worked as a MICA counselor for Catholic Charities East
Brunswick PACT team; and assisted clients in gaining independent
living skills as a Residence Counselor at SERV Centers of
New Jersey. Mr. Waynor ha s broad and ex tensive experience
assisting consumers with psychiatric disabilities in achieving
their personal goals. He is a member of the NJ Association
for Persons in Supported Employment (NJAPSE), and a recipient
of the NJ Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (NJPRA) Best
Practice Award.
